CuteFTP is one of the small and powerful classic FTP tools, has friendly user interface and stable transfer speed, once known as the three best FTP clients together with LeapFTP and FlashFXP. It was originally developed by Alex Kunadze from Russia in 1996 (distributed, supported and later acquired by GlobalSCAPE).

As a former excellent FTP tool, CuteFTP works on both Windows and Mac platforms, supports FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS and other transfer protocols, and provides advanced features such as Sophisticated Scripting, directory comparison/synchronization, intelligent overwriting, automatic scheduling, simultaneous connection to multiple sites, automatic re-drawing, continue transferring from breakpoint, integrated HTML editor, remote file editing, downloading or uploading files from different directories in the same site at once.

In fact, since there is the better and more powerful FileZilla, CuteFTP has been abandoned by many FTP users for many years, because it will cause many problems in use. So AppNee recommends that you use FileZilla to replace CuteFTP, unless you are a die-hard fan, are used to using it, and don’t want to change your habits. And AppNee released it because it was excellent and to complete the list of FTP client tools.
