Screen GIF is a small and useful animated GIF recording tool for Windows, developed by David Esperalta from Spain. With it, you can capture any area and operation process on the screen as an animated image in GIF format. What’s more, you can edit and optimize the animated GIF before saving it.

As one of the commonly used tools for GIF makers, Screen GIF comes with a clean user interface and simple operation, as well as a built-in simple GIF image editor. It offers a variety of optional GIF optimizations to generate smaller GIF images, and a multi-language interface. It is really useful for various purposes, since the GIF images can be easily shared around the web.

Screen GIF is vary easy to use. Just move the main program window around the screen and stop it in the screen area you want to grab. Then press the “Record/Stop” button to start the recording. And press the same button to stop the recording. A new window appears when the recorded GIF is ready to be edited and then saved as a file where you decide.
