When talking about OS reinstallation, generally we would think of using CD/DVD or USB flash drive. But if our computer does not equip with a built-in CD/DVD-ROM (because they are already outmoded), and we have no pendrive (a bit difficult to make and use) or mobile HDD in hand, what then?
Windows PE (Preinstallation Environment) means lightweight versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems that allow you to boot from DVD, USB or over network. This is a collection post for Windows PE assembly (Windows 7 PE, Windows 8 PE, Windows 8.1 PE, and Windows 10 PE) made by the famous reverse engineer Ratiborus from a very popular Russian computer forum Ru.Board. They will be updated as new utilities or drivers are added.
PIDKey is a lightweight and free database-based tool mainly used to test the validity of Microsoft Windows/Office/Visual Studio (and more) product keys in batch, made by Ratiborus and his friends from Russia. With it, we can say goodbye to the huge VAMT (Volume Activation Management Tool).
AppNee never intended to release the Windows setup ISO image files (not only because they have too big file size), but the following two reasons direct cause we have to do this for so many pure Windows players:
Windows 10‘s design and performance shrinks drastically
On the whole Internet, it is almost impossible to find any clean, untouched, official Windows setup ISO files
Now no matter installing Microsoft’s Windows operating system or Office software for computer, that can be done directly through Windows Update function. But it’s a weakness: always needs Internet connection, and has to redownload all files every time you want to install an update. Therefore, if we can download the offline update files and store them on local drive, then we will be able to use these Windows Update files anytime and anywhere. This is pretty good for system maintainers and IT administrators of companies at least.
