001 Game Creator is a graphically assisted scripting game engine for both beginners and advanced users, developed by SoftWeir from Canada. With its help, game developers can quickly prototype ideas, test complex systems, and build single-player or online/local multi-player (up to 4 players) and split-screen games for Windows, Steam, HTML5 web browsers, and Android/iOS, no coding required.

001 Game Creator comes with 2D/3D camera and audio systems, tons of premade customizable assets (sprite layer, 3D model, normal mapping, shader materials and particle effect systems), and allows to import your own graphics, models, materials and effects. Besides, it provides a multiple-layer map editor with parallax canvases, interface/HUD designer, a built-in graphics editor, AI action battle mechanics and actor routes, and graphical script and text code editors with game debugger, variable watching and statistics.

In addition, 001 Game Creator supports split-screen games with multiple gamepad, as well as dynamic resource loading/unloading to improve performance/reduce memory usage for larger games. And unlike traditional Event-Driven programming applications, 001 Game Creator offers a huge set of built-in events, with the ability to also create custom events for specific tailor-made functionality just for your games.
