JSplacement is a powerful, easy-to-use and free pseudo-random HD 3D displacement maps generator for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, developed by Windmill (Grigori Shevtsov) from Finland, using JavaScript and based on Electron. With it, we can quickly create a variety of very complex, electronics-like, Sci-Fi style texture maps for use in various 3D software.

JSplacement has a simple and friendly user interface with a variety of features and options at a glance; can generate 5 types of replacement maps, which support 8K (8192 x 8192) PNG format output; and supports custom sprite map, point light/Alpha map generation, color map creation, normal map export, etc.

In fact, the grayscale height maps generated with JSplacement can be widely used for displacement (and many other things) in various 3D packages and renders (such as Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Blender, even Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop), or even with 3D fractals or various 2D works, or even as Serum wavetable, and more.
