Godot is a completely free, open-source, cross-platform, and lightweight 2D + 3D game engine. It started as a 2D game engine, but later expanded its capabilities for 3D game development. Compared with many other game engines, it is small in size, rich in features, simpler and easier to use, and more friendly to the novice game makers. The games made with Godot can be simultaneously released to Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, UWP, and HTML5 platforms.

Door Kickers all game works in one place

Door Kickers is a small Real-Time Strategy indie game developed by KillHouse Games (the development team that made the famous module Project Reality for Battlefield 2) from Romania in 2014. It has a lot in common with Frozen Synapse both visually and playfully. However, the user interface and visual effects of the latter are more abstract.

[v2.6] DeltaWalker – Advanced file, folder comparison and synchronization tool

DeltaWalker (AKA: Deltopia DeltaWalker) is an advanced and professional file and folder visualization comparison and synchronization software for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. It has a lot of features and is powerful, but it pales in comparison to similar tools like Beyond Compare. Especially since it’s written in Java and using the Eclipse IDE, the entire program is too bloated, which is something AppNee can’t stand.

[v1.7] Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy – Beat your willpower until you make it to the end

Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a very unusual, difficult and competitive indie game for Windows and mobile platforms, developed by Bennett Foddy (who made the popular online Flash game QWOP) from Australia, using Unity. It’s not a purely original game, but rather a heavy reference/respect to the old but classic mini-game Sexy Hiking made by Jazzuo in 2002.

[v2.1] Horizon Chase Turbo – Simple and attractive arcade style racing game

In the early 1990s, 2D arcade racer video games had great success on both arcade consoles and 16-bit home consoles, delivering a stunning integrated gaming experience. Until the mid to late ’90s, it was surpassed by the full 3D GT Racing, Ridge Racer, Need for Speed, and so forth series. Nowadays, the graphics of racing games have evolved to resemble the real world, but the obvious side effect of the excessive pursuit of realism is that the game controls become more complex, thus losing the fun of the game itself. As a result, many gamers miss the simple, exciting, relaxing racing experience when they could easily compete with friends.
