8-Bit Commando is a small 2D indie game developed by 2D Engine and first released in 2011. The first time you see it, you will realize that this is a remake edition of the old but classic series of video game Contra. In other words, that is equivalent to port Contra from FC console to PC platform to let you relive this classic video game.

Cat Mario 3 – Beautified and enhanced edition of Cat Mario

Cat Mario 3 is not a successor of the fan-made small indie game Super Mary Cat or Syobon Action (AKA: しょぼんのアクション) developed by Chiku from Japan in 2007, both of which were totally inspired from a Flash game – The Life-Ending Adventure (AKA: 人生オワタの大冒険, The Big Adventure of Owata’s Life). It was developed by Lester (Lest-Soft) in 2014, comes with better graphics. Yet they have the almost identical gameplay and game mode.

Wolfram (AKA: Wolfenstein 3D Remake) is a modern HD remade edition of the classic DOS game Wolfenstein 3D, which was developed by John Carmack from id Software in 1992, and treated as the first game work of First Person Shooter (certainly, as early as 1973, the Maze War born in NASA‘s PDS-1 computer is the only real originator). It was made by Chain Studios from Russia using the Volatile3D II game engine in 2012, released for free.

And this one is for Windows.
